18/19 concept project
Wiąz: family law, property and business disputes · Warsaw
The firm edits its texts, team, FAQs and articles in a dashboard, and the site informs plainly, without advertising results.
Concept project - how I would build a website for a business in this field: family law, property and business disputes. The business and its details are fictional.

01The challenge
A lawyer cannot advertise like a shop: Polish bar ethics rules allow informing people, but not promising results or comparing yourself with others. On top of that, a law firm changes its team, consultation fee and client questions from time to time and does not want to write to an agency every time. This is how I would build a site for a three-lawyer firm in central Warsaw, in Polish and English.
02What I did
-
A dashboard the firm writes in itself
The firm changes practice area texts, the team with portraits, FAQs and guide articles in a simple dashboard, with no WordPress. Polish and English fields sit side by side, so the second version is easy to keep up to date. After saving, the site still opens quickly, because visitors get ready-made pages, not the dashboard. On the demo the dashboard is shown in a screenshot.
-
Laid out like a letter
The site is set out like a letter from the firm: the text runs at letter width, with section marks and short notes in the left margin. A vertical margin line runs down the whole page and draws itself as you scroll. The right column holds footnotes: when it is worth coming in, who handles the cases.
-
A leaf in a single line
On the first screen an elm leaf is drawn in a single ink line, and its stalk lands on the margin line. The same leaf is the mark in the header and on the site icon. The animation takes under 3 seconds, and with reduced motion the leaf appears fully drawn.
-
Booking a consultation without describing the case
The form asks for the practice area, suitable days and time, meeting format and contact details, but not about the case itself. Anything confidential is said to the lawyer in person. Next to the form are the consultation fee and length, plus a list of what to prepare that changes with the practice area.
-
A tone in line with bar ethics
The site states plainly what the firm handles, how it works, what the first consultation costs and what clients usually come with. There is no count of cases won, no “best lawyers” and no comparisons, because professional rules do not allow them. An automated check catches such phrases in the content.
-
Two languages and honest labels
The English version is written by hand, with its own practice area pages and guide articles. The firm and its lawyers are fictional, the number is all zeros, and the photos are AI-generated and labelled that way.
03Result
A two-language law firm website the firm keeps up to date itself, in a tone that respects professional rules. Clients book a consultation without describing their case in a form. Speed 97/100 on mobile and 100 on desktop, accessibility 100, and nothing jumps while the page loads.

How customers find this website
- Google knows it is a law firm and knows its lawyers, practice areas and consultation fee, because they are written on the page in a way it reads directly.
- The common questions on the home page and on each practice area page are set up so Google and AI assistants can quote the answers.
- The Polish and English versions are linked, so Google shows the right language.
- The demo is hidden from search engines, because the business is fictional.
