Concept project - how I would build a website for a business in this field: category B driving licence. The business and its details are fictional.

01The challenge
Driving schools usually list only the course price, while students want to know what they will pay in total, with the medical, the tests and the licence itself. The second question is “when can I start?”, and it usually ends with a call to the office. This is how I would build a site for a category B driving school in Praga-Północ, Warsaw: the next course starts with free places in plain view, sign-up in a minute and the full cost of a licence worked out honestly.
02What I did
-
A slogan painted on the road
The first screen is a stretch of asphalt in perspective. The lane lines rush towards you and brake, and the slogan “Category B licence without the stress” lies on the road like real markings and paints itself once. The animation takes under two seconds, and with reduced motion the page shows the final state at once.
-
A side mirror with the next start
The side mirror shows the next course start with a free place, how many places are left and a “Take a place” button. The glass reads “The exam is closer than it appears”.
-
Free places as parking bays
Every course start is a row of parking bays painted on the asphalt. Taken places are filled in, free ones have only an outline. Clicking a row opens the sign-up with that start selected, and after signing up the bay fills in before the student’s eyes. Two people cannot take the last place at the same time.
-
A full-cost calculator
Students choose a package, the number of extra lessons and whether to count a retake. The result is a road strip split into sections sized to each amount, with a plain table underneath. Official fees are current and sourced: the theory and driving tests at WORD Warsaw cost 56.98 zł and 229.99 zł, the licence 100 zł, and the medical at most 200 zł.
-
A school dashboard
The school sees sign-ups for every start, downloads the group list as a spreadsheet and frees a place when someone drops out. Student details in the dashboard are partly hidden. Students can cancel themselves from the link in their confirmation.
-
Honestly labelled
The school and instructors are fictional, and the demo sign-up sends nothing. The page only shows what the confirmation would look like. The quiz questions are my own and marked as examples, and so are the reviews, with no stars. The photos are AI-generated and labelled on the site.
03Result
A driving school website where students check free places, work out the full cost of a licence and sign up for a start without calling. Speed 98/100 on mobile and 100 on desktop, accessibility 100, and nothing jumps while the page loads.

How customers find this website
- The title says what and where: a category B licence in Praga-Północ and online sign-up.
- Google knows it is a driving school and knows its address, hours and packages, and the next starts are described as course dates.
- The most common questions are set up so Google and AI assistants can quote the answers.
- The demo is hidden from search engines, because the business is fictional.
