01 — Problem

by.KOT is Andrii Kot’s interior design studio in Lutsk. Clients need to understand what they pay for: how a 3 $/m² project differs from a 15 $/m² one. The old site ran on WordPress with an outdated Elementor 3.14 — a security risk.

02 — Decisions

  1. The price list as a drawing

As you scroll, 11 layers of the project are drawn onto an SVG floor plan, up to the final visualisation. You see the difference between packages before you read it.

  2. Area × package calculator

The client enters the floor area and sees the amount at once. Prices live in one place in the code, so the calculator and the price list can never disagree.

  3. Tracing paper

Tracing paper #F1F2EF, ink #1C1F22 and terracotta #9C4F3B, the Commissioner typeface, square brackets [ ] as the mark. All motion speaks one language — drafting.

  4. Real work, zero AI

31 visualisations from the studio’s Instagram. A lens under the cursor reveals a line drawing of the same interior — a Python filter labelled as a stylisation, not an AI image.

  5. An honest form

The form does not pretend to send: it composes a ready e-mail and shows a “ЛИСТ ГОТОВИЙ” (letter ready) stamp. Telegram, Viber and phone sit next to it.

03 — Result

Five pages in Ukrainian and English, with no scripts or fonts from third-party servers. Lighthouse accessibility raised from 93 to 100. The site is waiting for the domain move — until then it is deliberately kept out of the index.

05 — Google sees

What this website tells search engines and AI

  • A Ukrainian title with the phrase, the city and the name: “Дизайн інтер’єру Луцьк — студія Андрія Кота” (interior design Lutsk — Andrii Kot’s studio).
  • ProfessionalService structured data: founder, address in Lutsk, Instagram and Facebook, price range 3–15 $/m².
  • hreflang uk/en with x-default, canonicals and a sitemap with language pairs.
  • noindex (meta and X-Robots-Tag header) until the move, then 301 redirects from the old domain.
