21/21 concept project
Przystanek Łapa: emergency vet until 10 pm · Warsaw
Pet owners see at once whether the clinic is open and when the next free slot is, and book the visit themselves.

01The challenge
Someone with a pet wants two things from a clinic’s website: is it open right now, and when can they come in. Usually they get a table of hours and a phone number. This is how I would build a site for a vet clinic in Bemowo, Warsaw, with emergency hours until 10 pm: live status, free slots in plain view and booking without a phone call, in Polish and English.
02What I did
-
A bus-stop display with live status
Below the menu sits a display like the one at a bus shelter: open, emergencies only, or closed, based on the clinic’s hours in Warsaw time, with the next free slot next to it. The display changes by itself when the clinic opens or closes. During emergency hours the bar on phones offers “Emergency: call” first.
-
Free slots like a bus timetable
Free slots for the chosen day look like a Warsaw bus timetable: a column of hours, with the minutes of free visits in each row and the vet’s initial next to them. Clicking a minute opens the booking with that time set. Ultrasound can only be booked with the vet who does it, and the page sends emergencies straight to the phone.
-
A puppy and kitten vaccination planner
Owners enter a birth date and see a vaccination plan with dates, including the rabies jab that is compulsory for dogs. Each date can be booked straight away or added to the phone’s calendar. The plan follows the Polish Animal Health Act and WSAVA guidelines, shows when it was checked and is labelled as a guide, because the vet sets the final plan.
-
The first visit as a route
A line diagram walks through the clinic: reception, separate waiting rooms for cats upstairs and dogs downstairs, the consulting room, home. Next to it is a short list of what to bring to the first visit.
-
A clinic dashboard
Reception sees the visits for each day, blocks out hours, cancels visits and downloads the list as a spreadsheet. Owner details in the dashboard are partly hidden. Clients can cancel a visit themselves from the link in their confirmation.
-
Two languages and honest labels
The English version is written by hand, including the booking and the vaccination planner, and the visit confirmation comes in the language of the booking. The clinic and its vets are fictional, the demo booking sends nothing, the review is marked as an example, and the photos are AI-generated and labelled on the site.
03Result
A two-language clinic website that tells visitors whether it is open and when the next free slot is, and lets them book a visit or a whole vaccination plan without calling. Speed 100/100 on mobile and desktop, accessibility 100, and nothing jumps while the page loads.

How customers find this website
- The title says what and where: a vet in Bemowo, Warsaw.
- Google knows it is a veterinary clinic and knows its address, visiting hours and emergency hours.
- The most common questions are set up so Google and AI assistants can quote the answers.
- The Polish and English versions are linked, so Google shows the right language.
- The demo is hidden from search engines, because the business is fictional.
