Fasonbarbershop, Poznań
Makeovers instead of a price list: clients see the result before they sit down.
Concept project — how I would build a website for a business in this field: barbershop. The business and its details are fictional.

01 — Problem
A barber sells the difference between “before” and “after”, and clients search nearby, on their phones. This is how I would build a barbershop site: the result is visible at once, price and phone one tap away.
02 — Decisions
-
Before/after slider
Built on clip-path, no WebGL. It works from the keyboard, and without JavaScript both frames sit side by side.
-
Price on the first screen
The price and “Book a visit” are visible at once, and on phones a “Call” bar sticks to the bottom edge.
-
Prices with time
Services from 30 to 130 zł and 15 to 75 minutes — clients know what they pay and how long they sit.
-
Cinema and brass
Dark, cinematic sections, brass and Playfair Display. One motion motif — a blade passing through the page — and an SVG barber pole.
-
Honest, no counters
The map is a custom SVG illustration, with no invented ratings or review counts. All photos are AI-generated — the “after” frame is an edit of the “before” — and the footer says so.
03 — Result
A site in Polish and English with a JavaScript budget of about 45 KB (gzip). Performance 95 on mobile, 100 on desktop.

05 — Google sees
What this website tells search engines and AI
- The title “Fason - barber shop w Poznaniu” and a description listing services: haircut, beard, straight-razor shave.
- HairSalon structured data with address and opening hours.
- hreflang pl/en with x-default and canonicals.
- The demo is noindex (meta and X-Robots-Tag); robots.txt lets Googlebot and Bingbot in only to read that.
